Grade 1 students go on a fishing expedition

The Grade 1 class went fishing for alphabet letters during the first week of school. This was a fun activity for those summer fishing enthusiasts as they eased back into the routines of school and learning. Many students took the initiative to extend this activity, finding letters to make spelling words and to write simple sentences. All the students got caught up in this exciting activity!
