Primary Division hosts 2nd Annual Grandparent & Special Friend Day

The sun shone on another Grandparent & Special Friend Day here at Pickering. Greeted by Kathy Proudfoot, the PCA Grandparent Representative, the primary students eagerly welcomed these special guests to their classrooms where they showed them their work and introduced them to their friends. The Development Office hosted a brief reception for their guests with a special 100th Anniversary speech given by Mr. Sturrup, while the children prepared to perform their musical "A Kid's Life". This was the highlight of the afternoon. Grandparents & Special Friends thoroughly enjoyed the well-performed production and came away from the afternoon with many fond memories of seeing their grandchild or friend up on stage.
