The PC Leaving Certificate
The PC leaving certificate is internationally recognized by our parent community, potential students, and universities/colleges in their recruitment of our students for its requirements that go beyond the curriculum. The purpose of the Leaving Certificate is to distinguish students for completing an inspiring program that requires them to challenge themselves through the pursuit of academic excellence, co-curricular distinction and the commitment to leadership, creativity and social responsibility.
Our graduates are critical thinkers, risk-takers, creative problem solvers, adaptable, self-confident and globally aware.
Upon commencement at the end of Grade 12, students who have fulfilled the requirements of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) as well as the required sixty hours of community service are presented with the Pickering College Leaving Certificate, signifying a successful completion to their time as students at Pickering College. Acceptance of this certificate also grants a lifetime membership in the Pickering College Association (PCA).
