Our boarding environment aims to make students feel safe, comfortable and "at home" as quickly as possible. Many of our faculty live on campus and are able to provide students with individual attention and academic support. While living on campus, students are encouraged to have a good balance of study time along with a variety of extra-curricular activities planned by boarding staff and students.
Students live in bed-study rooms, which hold two occupants each. Boys live in New House residence and girls live in Firth House. Both buildings conform to contemporary standards of comfort and safety, with televisions, common-room areas and laundry facilities for students.
Both residences are a wireless environment. Personal tablet laptops are utilized throughout the Senior School and each Pickering student is assigned a personalized email for ongoing communication.
