Reporting to the Director of Admission and Marketing, the Associate Director of Admission is responsible for leading the work of recruitment, outreach, and file review of prospective students and is a vital member of the student recruitment leadership team. The Associate Director of Admission is a key contributor to the strategic planning for admission and enrolment management.
The Associate Director of Admission will be highly collaborative with faculty and other departments in the school, particularly the Communications Office, Business Office and Advancement Office. Within the Admission Office, key relationships include the Admission Associate Day and North American Boarding, the Admission Associate International Boarding and ESL Summer Camp, and the Admission Assistant.
This individual will work with the Admission team to develop and execute short and long term enrolment management plans using relevant research, data mining, demographics, and market analysis. The Associate Director will oversee admission operations including representing and articulating the school’s mission and vision at key on-site recruitment events and abroad to perspective families, agents, alumni and colleagues. This will include overseeing and interpreting database integrity and best practices.
This position requires excellent organizational, communication, problem solving and customer service skills. The ideal candidate has a University degree, preferably in Marketing or a related field, along with 5 years experience of admissions management, preferably in an independent school environment. The successful candidate will have a previous track record of management, leadership and strategic planning along with budget and revenue responsibility. Candidates must bring a strong work ethic and ability to deal with all constituents in a professional manner.
