Language Arts, Mathematics & STEAM Enrichment Circles

In between live lessons, students will be provided with extension work to complete and bring to the next class. Live lessons will be small groups where students and teachers will work together to explore key concepts through interactive tasks and group activities. Students can take subjects separately or as a bundle.
ESL Enrichment Circles
Our small online groups meet weekly to support ESL learners in Grades 1-8 through engaging speaking, listening, reading and writing activities which will raise confidence and academic success. Students will be placed in groups with other students of similar ages and levels. Pickering College teachers will work with their students to explore key concepts through interactive tasks and group activities. In between live lessons, students will be given extension tasks to complete independently and bring to the next class.
Our online credits offer the perfect blend of synchronous and asynchronous activities to keep learners engaged and on track. Weekly synchronous lessons and extra help opportunities allow students to interact with their teacher and check their learning in real time. Independent asynchronous tasks allow students to work at their own pace and organize their time in a way that works with their own schedule. All synchronous activities will be recorded and available to any students who are unable to attend a live lesson.
