Impact Incubator Finalists
2026 Impact Incubator Winner

Alexandra Aronov
A special congratulations to Alexandra Aronov for winning the 2026 Impact Incubator Project Finals with TruComfort, her innovative redesign of youth hospital gowns aimed at creating a more comfortable and uplifting experience for young patients.
How many times have you worn a hospital gown and instantly felt the weight of the situation and a sense of discomfort? Now imagine how a child might feel, not fully understanding what is happening, while wearing an oversized gown. Alexandra saw this issue and responded by redesigning youth hospital gowns through the creation of TruComfort. TruComfort offers a more modest and comfortable design, with lively colours that bring both functionality and personality to our youngest patients.

When you think of alternative meat, where does your mind go? For Haneul, it has become a mission to change the narrative. As the founder and leader of her school club, BeLife, she has worked to make alternative foods more accessible while raising awareness about animal rights. From growing oats at Blue & Silver Farm to selling vegan cookies at the PC Holiday Market and donating handmade animal toys to local shelters, her impact continues to grow. Now, she is developing a molecular app exploring protein compounds in food alternatives. What began as a six-student club has grown to more than 20 members and continues to expand.

As technology becomes more prevalent at younger ages, do you really know what information your child is consuming? Misinformation is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore, with a significant rise across all media platforms. This growing concern, witnessed firsthand, sparked Rebekah’s idea for Mind Guard, an interactive card game designed to teach children and teens how to identify and think critically about the media they consume online.

Saying “I am good” has become the default response when asked how you are. But what if you are not actually feeling good? Introducing Moodinest, a jewellery brand that symbolizes a range of emotions, sparking conversation and allowing others to better understand how you are feeling. Created by Bella, the brand works to break the stigma around expressing emotions and encourages more honest, open dialogue about mental wellbeing.

Literacy rates have become a growing concern, with steady declines in reading engagement and comprehension. At the same time, technology has made it even more challenging to foster a consistent connection with books and storytelling. So how do you bring the two together? Introducing Story Sprout, an online literacy app that challenges students to think critically while strengthening their reading skills through interactive storytelling. Fully coded and developed by Connor and Ethan, the platform allows students to choose their own adventure in an engaging and immersive way.
