ONE WEEK ONLY: August 24-28, 2020
Open to Students entering Grades 6-9
Pickering College is once again offering its summer math program, Mathtasia. Students will focus on building their confidence and reinforcing skills with mathematics such that it helps inspire them to meaningfully experience the subject. Students will work together through hands-on, fun-filled activities to promote community and collaboration among peers of all levels of math such that students leave with new friends, new ideas, and a new perspective on mathematics. Students new to Pickering College will become familiar with the campus and benefit from learning skills relevant to the PC Math Program. The program will foster returning students in an environment that concentrates on the fundamental skills of mathematics through Math at Play without students having to balance both prior knowledge with new knowledge.
