Boarding

Pickering College ensures that every boarding student, especially those adjusting to a new culture and climate, finds a true “home away from home.” Beginning in Grade 7, students live directly on campus in a safe, supportive, and healthy environment designed to nurture both academic success and personal growth.

From weekend trips and group activities to our unique circle of care that supports each student’s academic and emotional well-being, boarding life is filled with opportunities that make living away from home positive, enriching, and unforgettable.

Every student belongs to a boarding “family,” forming lifelong friendships with peers from across Canada and around the world. Within this community, students enjoy:

  • Faculty-supervised study periods
  • Family-style meals and housekeeping services
  • Frequent outings and cultural experiences
  • A dedicated boarding curriculum
  • A wide range of competitive and recreational activities

Boarding at Pickering College is more than a residence, it is a place where students are supported and challenged to follow their dreams. Here, they grow into compassionate leaders with a strong sense of social justice, ethics, environmental consciousness, and a determination to make the world a better place.

Our structured Boarding Program provides the care, comfort, and guidance students need while fostering independence and resilience. Weekly curricular sessions and engaging activities inspire a passion for learning and prepare students for success now and in the future.
