PCA Book Club

Location: Via Zoom

Time: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Join us as Ms. Johnson guides us through a thoughtful review and lively discussions. The Book Club will be discussing "Wish You Were Here" by Jodi Picoult and will be choosing the next book club read at this meeting. All are welcome - see you online!

PCA Morning Socials

Location: Harry M. Beer Dining Hall Courtyard
Date: Friday, September 9, Thursday, October 13, Thursday, November 10 and Thursday, December 8
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Join us for a PCA Morning Social to meet members of the community, faculty, staff, and administrators with refreshments provided by Aramark.

Thank you to the staff at Metropolis Mercantile + Cafe for hosting PCA Morning Socials over the winter months. It has been a pleasure to see old friends and to welcome new members of the community to these informal socials. We look forward to PCA Morning Socials resuming in the fall.

PCA Walks

Location: Memorial Field & Track or from the convenience of home
Date: Fridays beginning September 16 to December 9, 2022
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Get active and walk with us on either the PC track, your home gym, or around the block.

Track your distance for a chance to win PC swag and recognition as the 2022-2023 PCA Puma Walks winner!

PCA Cooks

Thank you to chefs Andrew, Molly, Shar and Food Services Director, Julie for hosting entertaining demonstrations and cooking tips and tricks during our PCA cooking classes. And thank you to our guests for attending this year's program.

Planning for our online cooking club begins soon. Send in your family recipes for our chefs to prepare during the fall sessions of PCA Cooks.

No need to cook, just relax and enjoy the demonstration, ask questions and share your own culinary tips and tricks. See you in September!

PCA Event Highlight - Spring Luncheon 2022

Celebrating Friendship - Spirit of Community

Thank you to our guests for attending the PCA Spring Luncheon celebrating community and the spirit of
friendship – your enthusiasm is appreciated!

This year’s event was a sold-out success thanks to the leadership of Spring Luncheon Chair, Patti Wietzes along with committee members Maryam Atri, Marnee Da Ponte, Violet Gal, and Krystie Robinson-Vincent. Thank you to Grade 11 student Sara Wietzes '23 for designing the Spring Luncheon materials and to the Blenich family for donating the beautiful table arrangements. Our gratitude to past parents Darlene Blenich, Beth Egan, Claudine Hubbard, and Julie Page for their vision and leadership in establishing this yearly PC tradition.

Congratulations to our graduating mothers Sherry Barclay, Violet Gal, My Hanh Pham, Mirella Morra, Janice Wang, Kai Wang, and Mary Zhou; and our best wishes to Peter Sturrup, Head of School on his retirement.

Thank you to Patti Wietzes for her commitment to the Spring Luncheon, for her expertise in guiding committees through to creative and engaging events, and for mentoring new members of the committee in preparation to take on the role of Chair. Thank you, Patti!
