Summer Camps

ESL Summer Camps

This overnight camp provides a perfect balance of ESL language instruction and a fun, authentically Canadian experience. Campers receive over 100 hours of ESL instruction in small classroom settings and are provided with a TOEFL Jr. score at the conclusion of camp.

Global Leadership Camp

This overnight camp is for students who are already proficient in English. It provides the same premium activities and excursions as the ESL camp, but replaces the language instruction with leadership development and global competencies, including a Model UN-style conference and a Global Leadership Action Project.

Day Camps

Our day camps provide students with the opportunity to brush up on academic skills, engage in fun activities with other students and experience life on both our main campus and our outdoor education site.

At Pickering College, we are proud to offer a range of enriching summer programs for students in Grades 1-12 to complement your child’s regular school program.

Students in high school will appreciate the opportunity to enrol in our online credits which are taught by experienced online educators that offer the perfect blend of synchronous and asynchronous activities to keep learners engaged and on track.

Campers looking for a fun way to spend their summer days will love our camp with its combination of traditional camp activities, fun projects and outdoor education. See our Summer Day Camps page for more information.

Registration is open for Pickering College's Summer Camps! Our Hilltop Summer Discovery Camp returns for campers entering Kindergarten – Grade 5, and we have a number of new and exciting Leadership, Arts, STEM, Create & Design and Music options for Middle School students.

New this summer: Harvest Hub @ The Blue & Silver Farm. Campers entering Grades 4 – 8 will be bused from our main campus to the farm daily for an action-packed day of farm-to-table food cultivation and preparation, farm craft, outdoor education activities and wilderness skills. Organic snacks and lunch are included as part of the experience. This program includes an overnight experience at the farm on the Thursday where campers will cook over the fire, enjoy a stargazing hike and sleep in canvas tents on wooden platforms.
