Legacy Challenge!

PC Road Rally

The Pickering College Legacy Challenge Road Rally celebrates the spirit of community and recognizes the legacy of our Head of School, Peter Sturrup. This unique fundraising event has been designed to engage alumni, parents, past parents, students, and friends in a one-of-a kind experience.

The excitement begins as participants arrive to the Hilltop for a continental breakfast served outdoors on the rally patios, rally up with your team for a picturesque tour to the welcoming village of Creemore nestled into the beautiful Niagara Escarpment. To create greater interest on route, teams will be divided into two groups each following a separate route to Creemore, then travelling back to the Hilltop on the alternate route. 

Teams will be provided with a delicious seasonal picnic hamper to be enjoyed at leisure along the route and can look forward to shop stops at the Creemore turnaround before making their way back to the Hilltop for refreshments.

To ensure a positive experience for all, the road rally has been designed as a test of knowledge and skill with simple, fun-filled challenges led by PC volunteers in the PUMA pit stops located along the two rally routes. This event is not a race - prizes will be awarded to PUMA pit stop challenge winners, and legacy contest winners. The Legacy Challenge trophy will be presented to the team with the best combined score.
