Future In Motion
Creating spaces where students thrive
This summer, two important spaces in Rogers House are being transformed into places where students will build, create, train, recharge, connect, and belong.
At Pickering College, education has always been about more than academics. It is about helping students discover who they are, what inspires them, and how they can contribute meaningfully to the world around them.
Future in Motion brings these two exciting projects together as part of a shared commitment to creating spaces where students can thrive.
Pickering College is moving forward with The Puma Den and the Innovation Centre, two vibrant student-centred spaces that will strengthen hands-on learning, wellbeing, creativity, collaboration, and community connection.
Donors are invited to be part of this important moment and to help enhance the spaces, tools, and experiences that will shape everyday student life.
Explore the Projects
Two new spaces. Two distinct experiences. One shared purpose: helping students thrive.
Why It Matters
The spaces in which students learn, create, gather, and grow shape the experiences they carry with them long after graduation.
The Puma Den and the Innovation Centre are not simply renovated spaces. They are an expression of who Pickering students are and who they are becoming. The Puma Den is a rare thing, a space intentionally free from screens and devices, where students can simply be present with one another and let real connection happen. The Innovation Centre is where curiosity becomes tangible. In a world that can feel abstract and overwhelming, it gives students the extraordinary experience of building something that did not exist before they walked through the door, with their own hands and their own ingenuity.
Together, they reflect who we are and what we believe our students deserve. When you give to either project, you are investing in that belief alongside us, and in the students who will carry it forward.
How You Can Support
You can be part of this exciting investment in student life and learning.
Each project has its own giving opportunity, allowing donors to support the space that is most meaningful to them.
Your gift will help enhance The Puma Den or the Innovation Centre through furnishings, equipment, technology, and finishing details that will make these spaces welcoming, functional and inspiring for students.
Thank you for believing in Pickering College and in the promise of young people. Together, we are creating spaces where students can thrive.
