Pickering College’s Middle School students kicked off the school year with a series of collaborative, hands-on workshops for Learn-to-Learn Week.
This fun and interactive week gave students the opportunity to get to know one another better through group challenges and spending time outdoors to promote their wellness. In the classroom, students spent time setting up their technology and learning spaces while getting a better understanding of the learning skills and work habits that lead to success.
One of the workshops allowed students to explore the parts of their identity through artwork in the shape of a hand, with each finger representing a different part of who they are. The hands are now on display on the Middle School floor of Rogers House, to remind our students of the importance of seeing the good in everyone.
